Secret Garden Cascade

Debra Burgin 2014 SAS Secret Garden CascadeThis card looks pretty dull in this photo, but in reality it sparkles, thanks to Dazzling Details applied along the edges of the sentiment strip and on the spatters.  It’s a sophisticated look — and one that matched one of the stampers at the Stamp-a-Stack over the weekend.  You’re not required to dress to match the cards, but … !

There’s a bit of a trick to get the “cascade” effect without any stress.  (You saw an earlier attempt at this look here.)  I’ll try to take pictures of the process and share them later this week.

This card had more stamps and inks than I would normally use in a “quick” card, but the stamping was simple and qualified it for a 10-minute projects (except for the drying time, of course!).

Stamps:  Secret Garden (p. 94), Gorgeous Grunge (p. 109), Sweet Essentials (p. 41)

Ink/Color:  Primrose Petals, Blushing Bride, Pirouette Pink, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray

Paper:  Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Blushing Bride

Other:  Dazzling Details
